Privacy Policy
How this website handles personal data submitted through the contact form and by email, what we keep, for how long, and how to make a request about your own records. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Who runs this site
Checkup Indonesia publishes this editorial resource for men in Indonesia. The operator and its editorial office sit at Jl. Diponegoro No. 18, Darmo, Wonokromo, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, 60241.
What this policy covers
The rules below apply to checkupindonesia.com and to any message you send through the contact form, by email, or by post to the address above.
What we do not hold
This website is a reading resource. It does not collect health records, laboratory results, or any clinical data about you, and it does not act as a booking channel.
Written enquiries
Corrections, topic suggestions and questions about published pages are welcome.

Data we collect
Contact form entries
When you submit the contact form, we store the information you choose to type, typically your name, your email address, and the content of your message. Nothing is added to that record behind the scenes.
Email and post
If you write to [email protected] or send a letter to the Surabaya office, we hold the same kind of information: your contact details and the substance of your enquiry.
Technical traffic data
Normal web traffic leaves limited records: an IP address, the browser and device type reported by your software, and which pages were requested. These records are used for site operation and abuse detection, not for profiling readers.
What stays out
This website does not collect health records, screening results, laboratory reports, or any clinical information. Nothing you read here is linked back to a medical file. Screening panels and schedules are published as general editorial material; a qualified professional applies them to your situation.
Why we collect it
Contact form data exists for one reason: so an editor can read your question, correction, or topic suggestion and answer it. It is not a mailing list, and it is not a lead pipeline. We do not use contact form data for marketing, we do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not pass messages to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, or other commercial parties.
Technical data serves the site rather than the business. It tells us which pages load correctly, which guides people actually read, and whether automated traffic is behaving in ways that would degrade the site for everyone else. That is the whole purpose.
If a message is a correction to published material, we keep a note of it so the page can be checked and, where warranted, amended.
The site keeps a record of corrections, not of readers. Nothing on this page changes that.
How long we keep it
Retention follows the job the data has to do, and nothing is kept because it might one day be useful.
Contact messages
Kept for as long as the enquiry is being handled, plus a further period where the message records a correction applied to a published page. That correction record is the reason an exchange is sometimes held longer than the conversation itself.
Technical logs
Held for a shorter period matched to site operations and security review, then discarded. Logs exist to keep the site running, not to build a picture of individual readers.
When retention ends
Once data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, it is deleted. We do not keep dormant copies for possible future use.
Your earlier request
If you ask us to delete your records, we action the request and remove the material covered by it, apart from anything we are separately required to retain.
Sharing and disclosure
Personal data leaves this site in only two situations. The first is operational: hosting, storage, and email delivery providers that process data so the website can function. Those providers act on our instructions and are expected to handle data consistently with this policy. The second is legal: where a competent authority requires disclosure under applicable law, we comply with what is required and no more.
Contact form messages are not disclosed to hospitals, clinics, or other commercial parties. A question you send to the editorial desk stays with the editorial desk.
At a glance
- Service providers needed to run the website.
- Disclosure required by applicable law.
- Nothing else. No commercial sharing, no sale of personal data.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send requests to [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify the records you mean, such as the name and email address used in the message.
We will respond within a reasonable period. Before acting on a request we may ask you to confirm your identity, which protects the records of other readers.
Access
Ask for a copy of what we hold, and we will describe it in the same plain terms used on this page.
Correction
If your name or email address was recorded incorrectly, tell us and we will put it right.
Deletion
You can ask us to remove your message and contact details once the enquiry is closed.
Questions
If any part of this policy is unclear, write to us and ask before assuming the worst reading of it.
Children
This site is written for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, and we limit access to people who need it to answer enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot promise that data will never be affected by an incident. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Because this website holds no clinical records, the data at stake here is limited to contact details and the content of messages.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable requirements. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
